There
are many people around the world who do not like to hire somebody to do
housework. For example, I love doing chores by myself. It is more significant to
do the chores by myself than to hire a person because I often have certain ways
I want work to be done and getting someone else to do it will not always get it
done the way I want the work to be done. I like to do chores by myself because
it gives me benefits such as happy parents.
Childhood
First off, I
have developed skills through doing chores.
I learned how to do everyday chores when I was younger than nine years
old living in Africa. My mom taught me
all different kinds of work because when she is
not available I might take her
place. One type of work is cooking. I can cook different kinds of food. For example, I can cook dishes which are
African, American, and other cultural cuisines.
I love to cook meals for family and friends. Another task
I feel comfortable with is keeping all cleaning supplies clean and doing the chores that are needed to be
done. For example, I sweep the rooms,
mop the floors, do the laundry, organize the laundry, and make the beds. I am responsible for completing these chores
because I am the oldest girl in my family, and my parents are proud of me. I
have done chores since my childhood.
In addition, many students do not
realize that doing chores helps them, but doing them is one of the most helpful
and appreciative ways of showing support to their parents. Parents are very
important figures in a child’s life. They provide food, shelter, and clothing
in order for the child to survive. They work day in and day out just to get the
money to support their children. When I do housework by myself, I show great appreciation to my
parents who suffer for me to live. Sadly, many children take their parents for
granted. They see their parents are already suffering to keep them alive, but
they also expect them to come home after a long day at work and do the dishes
and other chores also. If a young person sees his or her parents working hard
for them, the least she or he can do in return is helping them by doing house
chores.
Some
people may say it is okay to hire someone to do the job for me because that
person helps them reduce the amount of work. That person whom is being hired
helps to save me time. For instance, if another person does not know how to
make the yard look really nice, so that person might hire
someone to landscape the yard and trim the bushes nicely and take care of the
shrubs and flowers. While that person is cleaning for the owner, the owner can
use the time to accomplish other things. Hiring someone for doing the boss
chores is great because there could be some chores that the owner do not do
very well. If owner know someone who really needs some money, then they might
think of something they could do to help themselves out so the owner can help others
out by giving them some money. However, hiring somebody can cause that person
to be in trouble That person might cook
horrible food or be lazy the whole day and not do the chores. This could be
frustrating for the boss because they give that useless person money.
In summary, working by myself is
very important for me. I learn my capability person from the mistakes I make
because I do it by myself. I normal should do the housework by myself because
if I start simply paying other people to do most of my work, I am afraid that I
might start getting lazy. I show respect to my parents by doing all the chores
and I do it in a peaceful way no matter how hard it is. This is what makes them
happy all the time. I do not want to spend money to have someone
else do the work of the house.
